Paul Adrien Maurice Dirac was responsible for crucial advances in quantum mechanics. Among them, was a theory that included matix mechanics, the theory developed by Heisenberg, and rwave mechanics, the theory of quantum mechanics developed by Schrödinger, as special cases. He also combined the theory of quantum mechanics with special relativity.
